When suddenly you find yourself bound by the softest of restraints... you're the victim of a velvet mutiny.
This name is also derived from the drink’s inspiration, the Last Word, which is almost exactly the same, but here we have Velvet Falernum in place of Green Chartreuse And slightly different quantities.
The only problem I have with this drink is that it gets drunk way too damn fast.
1 oz Gin (I like Empress here)
.75 oz Maraschino Liqueur
.5 oz Velvet Falernum
.75 oz Lime juice
Shaken, serve in a coupe.
